Position Overview:
The Manager, Food and Beverage is responsible for assisting in the management of all food and beverage operations including concessions, premium, catering, and warehouse for all baseball and non-baseball events at Segra Stadium. This position reports to the Director, Food and Beverage.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Hire, train, and manage a team of seasonal employees
  • Monitor staff performance as it relates to speed of service, quality of product, and guest relations to deliver an exceptional fan experience.
  • Manage cost as it pertains to labor, food and beverage, operating supplies, etc, working within established budgets
  • Maintain proper safety and sanitation procedures and create a working relationship with local health officials
  • Execute a schedule to ensure proper repair, maintenance, and cleanliness of all food service areas and equipment
  • Work closely with multiple sub- contractors and non- profit groups
  • Assist in conducting monthly inventory and the ordering and receiving of food and beverage products
  • Work closely with the Director, F&B to create an expansive menu with classic, exciting, creative, and affordable options
  • Implement action plan in response to guest satisfaction surveys and secret shopper reports
  • Perform other related duties, tasks, and responsibilities as required

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Previous leadership experience in the food and beverage industry (high- volume, concessions experience preferred), to include the management of a large staff
  • Strong working knowledge of all facets of the food and beverage industry, including but not limited to food safety, sanitation, inventory control, labor management, quality control, responsible beverage service
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to collaborate and influence
  • Familiarity with various POS and BOH systems and the ability to troubleshoot these systems when needed
  • Passion for providing exceptional customer service
  • Ability to work all Fayetteville Woodpeckers home games and non- baseball events
