Job Details Responsibilities
- Manage commercial and business litigation matters from inception through resolution.
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests and responses, and legal memoranda.
- Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and trial preparation.
- Work directly with clients while providing practical legal advice and strategic guidance.
- Identify issues proactively and independently drive cases forward.
- Collaborate closely with firm leadership on sophisticated litigation matters.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of commercial or business litigation experience.
- Licensed to practice law in Georgia (or eligible for admission).
- Exceptional legal writing and analytical skills.
- Experience drafting substantive motions and managing discovery.
- Strong courtroom presence or a genuine desire to gain more litigation experience.
- Someone who naturally takes ownership rather than waiting for direction.
- High attention to detail with outstanding judgment and professionalism.
Nice to Have
- Experience handling shareholder disputes, breach of contract litigation, partnership disputes, fiduciary litigation, business torts, construction litigation, trade secret matters, or other complex commercial disputes.
- Deposition, mediation, or trial experience.
- Experience working directly with business clients.
