Job description

Job Title: Project Manager, Residential Landscape and Hardscape

Location: Cleveland, Ohio

Compensation:
Base salary ranging from $70-75k plus bonus program up to 15% of base salary, Take Home Vehicle, PTO to include Vacation and Holidays, 401k, Laptop, Cell and Health Insurance.

Our client is a reputable Residential and Commercial Landscape company with extensive experience in the Cleveland, Ohio market. They provide residential design/build services to include outdoor kitchens, pools, patios, retaining walls, landscape, irrigation, outdoor lighting and other outdoor living solutions.
They plan to hire an experienced Project Manager who has managed Residential Landscape and Hardscape projects and understands the personal connection a client has with their project.
They could be managing anywhere from 3-7 projects at a time depending on the scope and budget. Projects can range from $50k to over $1mm and typically consist of 65% hardscape versus 35% landscape installation.
Most of the projects are upgrades or renovations to existing properties, however, they work with homebuilders on new construction projects.
Almost all of the projects are Residential but they do Commercial projects from time to time.
This person will be the main point of contact for the client.  They will provide updates for the client on a regular basis throughout the project. Once the project is sold, it is handed over to the Project Manager who will see the project through completion.  Responsibilities include planning, scheduling crews via a Production Manager, logistics and deliveries of procure materials, selecting and manage subcontractors, problem solve, value engineer, write Work in Progress reports, forecast revenue, revise budgets and will manage the gross margin to reach company goals.
The company uses Aspire and MS Project to track the progress of a project.
They will participate in weekly meetings with the team to review the projects status and to make sure the communication is clear at the field level to include subcontractors and make sure everyone is up to date with construction schedule, plans and documents.

We want to hire an experienced professional who has completed and enjoys working on Residential projects.  The company has built a reputation over the years and as the company grows, there will be an opportunity for this person to take on a larger role within the company.
