Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Commercial Insurance Sales Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in the field of commercial insurance sales, with a minimum of 5 years of experience. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, coupled with the ability to effectively cold call and generate leads. As a Commercial Insurance Sales Representative, you will play a critical role in expanding our client base and driving revenue growth.


Responsibilities:

1. Sales Strategy and Prospecting:

- Utilize your extensive experience in commercial insurance sales to develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy.

- Identify and target potential clients through cold calling, networking events, referrals, and other strategic approaches.

- Research and understand potential clients' business needs, industries, and risk profiles to tailor insurance solutions effectively.

2. Client Relationship Management:

- Build and nurture strong, lasting relationships with prospective and existing clients.

- Serve as a trusted advisor by providing expert guidance on insurance products and coverage options.

- Conduct thorough needs assessments to recommend appropriate insurance solutions that align with clients' business objectives.

3. Sales Presentation and Negotiation:

- Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations to potential clients, highlighting the benefits and value of our insurance products.

- Address client inquiries and concerns while showcasing in-depth industry knowledge and understanding of insurance policies.

- Skillfully negotiate terms and coverage to ensure mutually beneficial agreements between clients and the company.

4. Lead Generation and Cold Calling:

- Leverage your cold calling experience to generate a steady stream of qualified leads.

- Implement effective cold calling techniques to initiate conversations and introduce insurance solutions to prospects.

- Document all interactions, lead progress, and sales activities in the CRM system accurately.

5. Collaboration and Reporting:

- Collaborate with internal teams, including underwriters and claims specialists, to create customized insurance proposals that meet client needs.

- Provide regular reports on sales activities, pipeline progress, and upcoming opportunities to sales management.

- Participate in team meetings to share insights, best practices, and contribute to the continuous improvement of sales strategies.
