Compensation:

$85,000 - $105,000 yearly


Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and assess employee performance, establish clear performance objectives, and manage/prioritize individual and team activities
  • Interpret and communicate overall organizational goals and apply them to team directives
  • Provide guidance and support to staff members, aiding in the recruitment process to secure qualified candidates
  • Develop and review protocols for customer service and operational efficiency to guarantee seamless and productive workflows
  • Identify operational shortcomings and devise strategies to enhance customer service and streamline operations
  • Implement necessary procedural adjustments, effectively rolling out changes to optimize efficiency
  • Lead, mentor, and develop team members, providing guidance, tools, skills training (including software platforms, carrier relations, customer service etiquette), and support to ensure high performance and professional growth
  • Ensure the department adheres to state insurance regulations, licensing requirements, and industry best practices
  • Oversee documentation, policy accuracy, and coverage/exclusions to reduce E&O risks

Qualifications:
  • The ideal candidate should possess a bachelor's degree from a college
  • Five years of experience in customer service within the commercial insurance industry is preferred, but not required
  • Holding a Michigan PC Insurance License is preferred
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Agency Management Systems (preferably AMS360).
  • Proven ability to build and lead a team
