Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Commercial Door Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining commercial doors and related hardware across various job sites.

Your expertise will ensure that each project meets safety standards, quality expectations, and client specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilize your technical skills, and contribute to the safety and functionality of commercial buildings.

Responsibilities

  • Install, adjust and operate multiple types of commercial doors - including AD Systems doors.
  • Read and interpret construction drawings, schematics, and technical instructions to ensure precise installation.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication techniques to complete door hanging, frame carpentry, metal stud framing, and fixture installation.
  • Perform heavy lifting of doors, hardware components, and related materials safely on-site.
  • Conduct caulking, trim carpentry, locksmithing tasks, and cabinet installation as needed for complete door systems.
  • Collaborate with project managers, electricians, carpenters, and other trades to coordinate installation activities on construction sites.
  • Maintain a clean work environment while adhering to safety protocols; perform remodeling tasks when required.

Skills

  • Proficiency in , carpentry (including trim carpentry and frame carpentry) is required
  • Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and schematics interpretation for accurate project execution.
