What is a commercial contracts counsel?

A Commercial Contracts Counsel is a legal professional who specializes in drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and managing commercial agreements for a business or organization. They ensure that contracts comply with legal requirements, protect the company’s interests, and minimize risks. Their work often involves collaborating with internal business teams and external partners to facilitate transactions and resolve contractual disputes. This role is essential for companies that handle complex or high-value contracts, especially in regulated industries.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a commercial contracts counsel?

To thrive as a Commercial Contracts Counsel, you need a law degree, admission to the bar, and expertise in contract law, negotiation, and risk assessment.
