URGENT — Hiring: Retail Cleaner – Spokane, WA (Commercial Cleaning + Window Washing)

Spokane, WA 99201 — River Park Square Mall

HIRING ASAP — URGENT

About the Role North Co Commercial Cleaning is looking for a reliable cleaner for a recurring retail account in downtown Spokane. This is occasional work (roughly every 6 months), not steady weekly hours — a great way to get your foot in the door as we grow in the area. Both services are at the same location, same trip.

Location River Park Square Mall — Spokane, WA 99201

The Jobs

1. Commercial Cleaning

  • Pay: $100 per visit
  • Time on site: 1–1.5 hours
  • Schedule: Monday, June 8, 2026 — 8:00 AM start

2. Window Washing

  • Pay: $65 per visit
  • Time on site: 1–1.5 hours
  • Schedule: Monday, June 8, 2026 — 8:00 AM start

Combined trip: ~2–3 hours total, $165 per visit

Payment Each job is paid separately, per visit, after photos are submitted and the client manager signs off.

Supply Bonus

  • Bring your own supplies for both jobs → $10 total per visit
  • Bring supplies for one job only → $10 if commercial cleaning, $5 if window washing
  • North Co provides supplies → no bonus

What You'll Do

Commercial Cleaning: Sweep, dust mop, and vacuum all floors including corners and edges. Mop hard floors. Remove gum and stickers. Dust shelving, fixtures, ledges, and vents. Wipe counters and display cases. Empty trash and replace liners. Clean and disinfect restroom if present. Damp mop office, stockroom, and break room floors.

Window Washing: Clean and remove smudges from entry door glass inside and out. Polish handles, sills, and doorplates. Remove spider webs. Wipe frames and ledges. Remove gum, debris, and tape. Squeegee and detail all glass edges and corners. Wipe ledges dry.

Supplies Needed (if you bring your own)

  • Commercial Cleaning: Vacuum, mop and bucket, broom or dust mop, all-purpose cleaner, disinfectant, glass cleaner, microfiber cloths, dusting tool, restroom cleaner, trash bags.
  • Window Washing: Professional window scrubber/applicator, squeegee, glass cleaning solution, microfiber or scrim cloths, a scraper or razor, and a bucket.

Dress Code

  • Slip-resistant shoes required — we'll help you get a pair if needed.
  • Clean, plain blue or black shirt until your North Co branded shirt at 3 months.
  • Gloves optional. Jeans or non-athletic shorts — nothing ripped, no sweatpants, nothing revealing.
  • Jewelry minimal. Hat on or hair tied back. Arrive clean and presentable.

Pace / The Service Window Be fast but keep the quality high. If you can't hit the window solo, bring a helper or we'll add a second person.

On Site — How It Works (Start to Finish)

  1. Getting in: Call the store manager to be let in. If you can't reach them, call me.
  2. Check in: Check in with the manager in person when you arrive, and grab their name.
  3. Before you start: Ask if anything in particular stands out to them. We've got our standard list, but always good to confirm.
  4. Do the work: Clean to scope. Check in through the app, and take before photos/videos.
  5. Check out: When you think you're 100% done, take after photos/videos, then check out with the manager in person — if they want anything touched up, fix it before you leave.
  6. Close out: Everything goes through the app — check in, before/after photos, and check out. That's how the job gets tracked, covers us if anyone complains, and lets me pay you right away.
