Commercial Product Sales Specialist – Disdero (A BlueLinx Company)

Clackamas, OR
OnSite | FullTime

Are you a driven, peoplefocused professional looking to grow your career in the building products industry? Disdero, a proud BlueLinx company, is seeking a dynamic Sales Rep to join our Clackamas team. If you thrive in a fastpaced environment, love supporting customers, and enjoy being part of a highperforming sales team, this is the opportunity for you.

As a Sales Rep, you will be the primary point of contact for architects, general contractors, and developers, providing technical expertise and product education to ensure our materials are the "basis of design" for major commercial projects. In this role, you will be the face of our high-end commercial cladding and facade solutions. We are looking for a "hunter" who is inspired by challenges and eager to identify new leads while managing long-term customer relationships.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead Generation & Business Development: Proactively identify and qualify leads for commercial building projects.
  • Architectural Specification: Conduct Product Knowledge (PK) sessions and formal presentations to architects and designers to get our cladding products specified.
  • Project Management: Manage the sales cycle from lead identification through project completion, ensuring a seamless experience for the customer.
  • Technical Presentations: Deliver compelling presentations on commercial building materials, focusing on aesthetics, durability, and technical specifications.
  •  Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with a recent history of successful customer satisfaction.
  • Travel: Perform regular travel to visit project sites, architectural firms, and industry events as required.

What You Bring

  • 3-5 years of sales or customerfacing experience, preferably in building materials or construction.
  • A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
  • Strong relationshipbuilding and customer service skills
  • Excellent communication skills — both written and verbal
  • Highly organized, able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Comfortable with basic accounting/mathematical concepts
  • Strong data entry skills (10key, 50+ wpm)
  • A background in building materials, construction, architectural sales, or related fields is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred

Why Join Disdero & BlueLinx?

  • Be part of a respected heritage brand with decades of industry leadership
  • Work within a supportive, teamfocused environment
  • Opportunities for professional growth within BlueLinx’s nationwide footprint
  • Competitive salary, benefits, and a company culture built on integrity, teamwork, and customer commitment

Ready to Grow Your Career?

If you're motivated, detailoriented, and excited to contribute to a highenergy sales team, we’d love to hear from you! Apply today and take the next step with Disdero and BlueLinx.
