Job description

All new drivers are trained by our qualified on-board instructors to obtain a commercial driver's license (CDL), earn related driver endorsements, and learn our district policies and procedures. No prior driving experience with a CDL is required — we'll train you.


We are looking for responsible and reliable Full-Time and Substitute school bus driver's to transport students to and from school following a scheduled route and ensuring their safety. The school bus driver's responsibilities include ensuring proper vehicle maintenance, observing safety and traffic rules, and maintaining order among students while they are on the bus.

To be successful as a school bus driver you should enjoy working with children and strictly observe passenger transport regulations. Ultimately, a top-notch school bus driver should be meticulous when it comes to vehicle inspections and regard passenger safety as the highest priority.


Pay & Schedule

• Full-time pay: $25.89–$39.56/hour, based on years of experience

Full-time schedule: 5–6 hours per day; offers Medical, Vision, Dental, and HSA benefits

• Trainee and substitute pay: $25.89/hour

• Pick up extra hours — field trips, athletic trips, or sub mechanic shifts between routes.


Requirements
