Warehouse Backup Non-CDL Delivery Driver

Location: Oshkosh, Wisconsin

Job type: Full time

License: Regular driver's license

Vehicle Type: Box truck/straight truck or sprinter van

Schedule: 4:00am start time Monday-Friday

Hourly pay: $20.00-$25.00 an hour (Pay for experience)

Distance: Local deliveries - return home each night

What you'll do as a warehouse associate backup driver:

  • Conduct vehicle inspections at the start and end of your route
  • Transport and deliver products to customers with care
  • Unload items such as wire, pipe, conduit, and boxes during deliveries
  • Adhere to all safety procedures and regulations
  • Maintain a friendly and courteous demeanor with customers
  • Fill orders and issues materials and supplies per requests
  • Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, cherry pickers, walking riders, reach trucks, EZGo carts, hand trucks or dollies
  • Pack and ship customer orders accurately and efficiently
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment
  • Other warehouse duties as assigned

What you bring:

  • Valid driver's license
  • Be at least 21 years old
  • Ability to climb into and drive delivery vehicles
  • Ability to lift packages that could weigh up to 85 pounds
  • Ability to pass and maintain Department of Transportation (DOT) physical
  • Basic math skills (add and subtract numbers)
  • Basic English communication skills
  • Willingness to learn how to operate equipment (we provide training)
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without VISA sponsorship now or in the future
  • 1 year of related driving experience and/or training
