Position Summary

The Commercial Account Opening Specialist provides administrative support to the Treasury and Commercial sales team across all markets and regions. Assists in opening new commercial deposit accounts and performing various maintenance on existing commercial accounts.Duties & Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Treasury and Commercial Sales Associates to support client needs and requests.
  • Complete documentation for new account setups and send documentation to clients for execution.
  • Open Deposit accounts for commercial clients.
  • Perform various maintenance for commercial accounts, including but not limited to, changing account signers, address changes, and adjusting account types.
  • Ensure that all administrative tasks and duties are executed in a professional, timely and efficient manner.
  • Consistently maintain a high level of communication with Treasury and Commercial Sales Associates and clients.
  • Follow all processes and procedures to mitigate risk for the bank.
  • Remain current with regulatory and/or Commercial deposit products and service changes.
  • Interact with internal and external clients while providing service excellence.
  • Reliable and predictable attendance; both onsite and remote.
Education & Experience
  • Knowledge of:
  • Proven performer in a fast-paced service-oriented role.
  • Knowledge and understanding of commercial account products, services and operations preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience with office automation equipment, including phones, computers and related banking software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and DocuSign preferred.
  • Ability to:
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize workflow and projects, support and function in a team-based environment.
  • Communication Skills; both verbal and written.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and demonstrated success in a multi-task environment with attention to detail and follow through
  • Persistence, flexibility, and a high service orientation are required, as well as a reputation for dependability, professionalism and a commitment to teamwork.
  • Education and Training:
  • Bachelor's Degree, (Business Administration or a related field preferred) or equivalent work experience.
  • High school diploma required.
  • One year commercial account opening experience preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary offered is based on factors, including but not limited to, the job duties, required qualifications and relevant experience, and local market trends. The role may be eligible for bonus or incentives based on company and individual performance.

(Base Pay Range: $21 - $26/ hour)
