Direct Counsel is representing a reputable law firm seeking a Mid-Level Litigation Associate to join its Trial & Litigation Practice in Miami, Florida.

About the Role

This opportunity is ideal for an associate with at least 3 years of commercial litigation and/or arbitration experience who is looking to work on sophisticated, high-stakes disputes. The position offers hands-on involvement in complex litigation matters, including trials, final hearings, discovery, motion practice, and case strategy.

Responsibilities
  • Handle commercial litigation and arbitration matters through all stages of litigation
  • Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery materials
  • Conduct legal research and manage discovery
  • Assist with trials, hearings, and strategic case development
  • Collaborate closely with clients and litigation teams on sophisticated disputes
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of commercial litigation and/or arbitration experience
  • Trial or final hearing experience preferred
  • Strong research, writing, oral advocacy, and discovery skills
  • Excellent academic credentials required
  • Top law school performance strongly preferred
  • Federal clerkship and interest in international disputes are a plus
  • Must be admitted to the Florida Bar or eligible for admission
