Position Overview
At JMark, clear communication is essential to mission success. We are seeking Technical Writers across multiple discipline levels to support the Legislative/Legal Research Lead, Legislative Liaisons, and Law Clerk/Attorneys. This role focuses on developing clear, accurate, and compelling documentation that communicates complex intelligence and legal information to Congressional stakeholders, ensuring ODNI intent and activities are fully understood.
Key Responsibilities
Writing & Editing
  • Draft, edit, and format documents, reports, and briefing materials for senior and Congressional audiences.
  • Translate complex intelligence and legal content into clear, concise language tailored to policymakers.
  • Ensure consistency, accuracy, and alignment with ODNI and IC standards.

Support to Legislative & Legal Teams
  • Collaborate with Legislative/Legal Research Leads, Legislative Liaisons, and Law Clerk/Attorneys to prepare high-quality deliverables.
  • Provide editorial support for legal and legislative documents, ensuring clarity and compliance.

Communication & Knowledge Integration
  • Maintain awareness of ODNI priorities and IC mission objectives to accurately reflect intent in written materials.
  • Apply strong writing and communication skills to bridge technical detail with strategic messaging.
