Job Summary

Comcast Business is seeking an experienced and strategic Human Resources Manager (HR Business Partner) to support leaders and teams across our Global Solutions and Commercial Operations organizations. This role serves as a trusted advisor and business partner to leadership, aligning people strategies with business objectives while fostering a high-performance, inclusive, and employee-focused culture. The ideal candidate will bring strong business acumen, employee relations expertise, and the ability to influence leaders at all levels. This individual will partner closely with management to drive talent strategies, organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, performance management, and employee engagement initiatives that support the continued growth and success of Comcast Business.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

Strategic Business Partnership
  • Serve as a trusted HR advisor to business leaders within Comcast Business Global Solutions and Commercial Operations.

  • Partner with leadership to develop and execute people strategies that support organizational goals and business priorities.

  • Provide guidance on organizational design, workforce planning, change management, and talent optimization initiatives.

  • Translate business strategies into actionable HR solutions that drive performance and employee engagement.

Employee Relations & Leadership Coaching
  • Manage complex employee relations matters, including investigations, performance concerns, corrective action, conflict resolution, and policy interpretation.

  • Coach and advise leaders on performance management, employee development, team effectiveness, and workplace issues.

  • Ensure consistent application of HR policies, procedures, and employment practices.

  • Partner with Legal, Compliance, and HR Centers of Excellence as needed to mitigate organizational risk.

Talent Management
  • Support talent review, succession planning, leadership development, and career growth initiatives.

  • Partner with Talent Acquisition and business leaders on workforce planning and hiring strategies.

  • Identify opportunities to strengthen organizational capability and bench strength.

  • Promote a culture of accountability, inclusion, and continuous development.

Compensation & Performance
  • Partner with Compensation and business leaders on salary planning, promotions, organizational changes, and job evaluations.

  • Facilitate performance management processes and support leaders in driving high-performance outcomes.

  • Utilize workforce data and HR metrics to identify trends and recommend actions that improve organizational effectiveness.

HR Programs & Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, local, and company policies and employment regulations.

  • Support implementation and execution of enterprise HR programs and initiatives.

  • Recommend improvements to HR processes, policies, and employee experience programs.

  • Act as a change champion for organizational and business transformation efforts.

QualificationsRequired
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related field.

  • 5+ years of progressive Human Resources Business Partner, Human Resources Manager, or Employee Relations experience.

  • Demonstrated experience supporting leaders in a complex, matrixed organization.

  • Strong knowledge of employee relations, performance management, compensation practices, and employment law.

  • Proven ability to influence and coach leaders through complex business and people challenges.

  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and conflict-resolution skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Preferred
  • Experience supporting sales, commercial operations, customer operations, or enterprise business organizations.

  • Experience working within a large, Fortune 500 environment.

  • Change management and organizational design experience.

  • Professional HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP).
