Job Summary

Responsible for assisting in controllership related to treasury activities across the company. Provides leadership and works with treasury department and divisions to establish and maintain appropriate process and controls related to financial reporting. Serve as a technical accounting resource for treasury controllership.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Technical accounting resource, primarily focused on the areas of financial instruments, including investments, debt and derivatives, and foreign currencies. Partners with corporate controllership and external reporting on the accounting and reporting for financial instruments. 
  • Partners with treasury department and enterprise treasury accounting team to evaluate process and controls around financial reporting.  
  • Acts as a liaison between the company and external auditors to facilitate procedures around treasury activities. 
  • Reviews periodic financial information to assist in the accurate preparation of the Company's financial statements in a timely and accurate manner in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles, including collecting and analyzing financial data related to treasury activities. 
  • Works with treasury department and enterprise treasury accounting team regarding compliance with company policies, trust indentures, debt covenants, rules, regulations and laws; and stays abreast of legal, regulatory and policy developments and audit guidelines affecting areas of responsibility.  ​
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
