Job description

Now Hiring: Vac Truck Operators (Combo Unit) in Houston, Tx
Pay: $25+/hr (Pay is competitive and based on experience)

What You'll Do
  • Operate vac trucks for potholing, trenching, tunneling, daylighting, and utility locating
  • Manage high-pressure water systems (up to 3000 PSI)
  • Perform vacuum excavation and cleaning tasks safely and efficiently
  • Complete service tickets, paperwork, and digital records
  • Follow all OSHA, DOT, and company safety procedures
  • Work as part of a 2-person crew with strong communication
  • Travel to job sites during the week; occasional overnight stays depending on project needs

Minimum Requirements
  • Class A or B CDL with Tanker Endorsement
  • Ability to operate required equipment
  • 21+ years old
  • Able to communicate in English (verbal & written)
  • Pass pre-employment drug screen & background check
  • CPR & First Aid certification (or ability to obtain)
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Problem-solving and decision-making ability

Work Environment
  • Outdoor work in all weather conditions
  • Exposure to heat, cold, rain, chemicals, and job-site hazards
  • Must be able to wear PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, etc.)
  • Physical activity including standing, bending, climbing, and lifting
  • Occasional overnight travel depending on project location

Benefits:
Benefits are available to full-time employees (30 or more hours per week).
  • Medical, dental, vision, voluntary life insurance, and voluntary short-term and long-term disability insurance after 90 days.
  • 7 paid Holidays.
  • 40 hours vacation pay after 1 year; 80 hours after 2 years.
  • Sick pay according to state laws
  • 401(k) eligible with up to 50% company match on the first 6% after 1 year.

* Per Diem is available to all employees regardless of employment classification (full-time, part-time, or temporary employees).
