Job description

In this role, you'll operate combination jetting and vacuum equipment to clean catch basins, jet sanitary and storm sewer lines, and support CCTV inspection operations. What You'll Be Doing:

  • Operating combo jet/vac equipment in a variety of working environments, including confined spaces
  • Cleaning catch basins, manholes, lift stations, and storm/sanitary sewer systems
  • Performing high-pressure sewer line jetting to remove debris, grease, roots, and blockages
  • Supporting CCTV inspection crews by preparing and cleaning pipelines prior to inspection
  • Assisting with sewer maintenance, pipeline flushing, and emergency response work
  • Driving combo jet trucks and transporting equipment to and from job sites
  • Attending daily safety meetings and participating in site hazard assessments
  • Performing routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and minor repairs on combo jet equipment
  • Preparing work areas by setting up traffic control and safety measures while identifying potential hazards
  • Operating equipment safely around underground utilities, roadways, and active construction areas
  • Accurately completing Badger, Federal, State, Municipal, and Customer paperwork and inspection reports
  • Maintaining professionalism and strong communication with customers, municipalities, contractors, and crew members
     

What We're Looking For:

  • Must have a valid Class A or B CDL
  • Experience operating combination jet/vac trucks, sewer cleaning equipment, or related industrial equipment preferred
  • CPR/First Aid, Confined Space Entry, Fall Protection, and OSHA 10 certification (preferred)
  • Experience driving a manual transmission (10-18 speed) without automatic restrictions (preferred)
  • Ability to work variable shifts with extended hours, including emergency callout work when required
  • Must be willing to travel up to 25%
  • Must be able to lift, push, pull 50+ pounds and have the physical stamina for manual labor in varying weather conditions
  • Prior municipal sewer maintenance, underground utility, hydrovac, or industrial services experience preferred
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
