Tuck McClimon is a reputable law firm focused on family law, civil litigation, real estate, and estate planning. We proudly serve Central Texas, including Bastrop, Travis, Williamson, and Fayette Counties. We are committed to providing client-centered, results-driven legal services, and are seeking a skilled Associate Attorney to join our growing team.
Position Summary:
The Associate Attorney will handle a docket of family law matters. This role requires courtroom advocacy, strong legal writing, client management, and collaboration with senior attorneys and support staff.
Key Responsibilities:
• Represent clients in family law matters, from intake through final disposition.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, settlement agreements, and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and case analysis to develop strategies.
• Attend and advocate at hearings, mediations, depositions, and trials.
• Maintain proactive and professional communication with clients.
• Ensure accurate documentation of case files and deadlines.
Qualifications:
• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in Texas.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in family law and/or civil litigation preferred (strong candidates with less experience will be considered).
• Exceptional research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational abilities.
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage a full caseload.
Position Type: Full-Time
Salary Range: $125,000 – $250,000 (commensurate with experience)

Work Environment:
Serving cases in Bastrop County, Travis County, Williamson County, Fayette County, Hays County, Lee County, and Comal County. This position requires a consistent presence in our Bastrop office at least 4 days per week during the initial training period. Hybrid arrangements are available.
