As we continue to grow and expand our product offerings, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Outbound Coordinator to join our Retail team.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Distribution Center Coordinator is integral to the operations of the Distribution Center, managing products throughout the entire process from receiving to stocking and shipping. This role involves compiling, recording, and preparing reports on warehouse activities, coordinating merchandise orders, and supporting overall warehouse operations. The coordinator ensures efficient shipping, receiving, and processing, contributing to a smooth and effective distribution operation.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Print and assign pick tickets to the team daily.
  • Schedule and request shipping routings.
  • Monitor and respond to emails promptly.
  • Schedule necessary labeling for off-price market orders.
  • Plan and prioritize past-due and upcoming orders.
  • Process group orders efficiently.
  • Follow up on delayed transfers or purchase orders.
  • Check the status of past-due orders and expedite inventory where necessary.
  • Run metrics and prepare performance reports.
  • Track and address missed shipments.
  • Meet shipping, routing, and timeline requirements.
  • Adhere to all organizational policies, rules, and regulations.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 3 years in a warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing setting.
    • Proficient in using computers and Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Experience with Epicor is a plus.
  • Skills:
    • Strong leadership and problem-solving capabilities.
    • Ability to work as part of a team.
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Capacity to multitask and handle pressure effectively.
    • Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification.

Education:

  • Minimum high school diploma required.
