Industrial Maintenance Technician



Position Summary

The Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing production equipment, facility systems, and infrastructure. This role supports plant operations by troubleshooting issues, minimizing downtime, and ensuring equipment reliability.


Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues
  • Perform preventative maintenance and equipment repairs
  • Install, maintain, and repair machinery, piping systems, and electrical components
  • Diagnose root causes of equipment failures and implement corrective actions
  • Fabricate and repair parts using machine tools (lathes, mills, grinders, etc.)
  • Maintain facility structures and infrastructure as needed
  • Execute continuous improvement and maintenance work orders
  • Track work and updates in CMMS
  • Collaborate with reliability and maintenance teams on parts and inventory


Qualifications

Minimum:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience (mechanical and electrical)

Preferred:

  • Associate’s degree in a technical field
  • Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments


Physical Requirements

  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and climbing
  • Ability to work in confined spaces and on the production floor
  • Lift up to 50 lbs as needed
  • Ability to operate powered industrial equipment
  • Adequate vision (including color differentiation) and hearing
