Job Overview:
We are seeking motivated men and women to join our team of Finish Surface Repair Technicians. Technicians are responsible for repairing and restoring the finish of various surfaces to meet quality standards and customer expectations. This role requires attention to detail, initiative, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work with various materials. Paid on the job training is provided. Employees are subject to occasional night work and travel.
Must see full color and display an excellent attitude. If you cannot see color this job is not for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect surfaces for damage, imperfections, or defects.
- Utilize various tools and techniques to repair and restore surface finishes, including sanding, polishing, and applying coatings.
- Color matching stains, paint & faux finishes, clear coats or other finishes as needed.
- Ensure all repairs meet quality standards and specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding project status and any issues that arise.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Document work performed and materials used for inventory and reporting purposes.
- Continuously improve skills through training and staying updated on industry trends and repair techniques.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
