Quality Control Specialist, CGC – Cards
Sherwood, OR, On-site, Full-time, Monday – Friday 8:15am-5pm schedule
We're looking for a Quality Control Specialist to join our CGC Cards team to play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, quality, and timely production of collectible labels used throughout our grading process in our Sherwood, OR Office.

WHAT YOU WILL DO AS A QUALITY CONTROL SPECIALIST:
  • Print label orders using specialized printing equipment and software systems.
  • Operate automated cutting machines to prepare labels according to production specifications.
  • Review printed labels to verify accuracy of item descriptions, grades, certification information, and other order details.
  • Inspect labels for print quality issues such as smudges, streaks, misalignment, incorrect colors, missing information, or other defects.
  • Verify that labels are printed on the correct stock and materials based on order requirements.
  • Maintain high levels of accuracy and consistency while processing repetitive production tasks.
  • Meet daily productivity, quality, and turnaround goals within a fast-paced production environment.
  • Identify, document, and communicate quality concerns or production issues to supervisors.
  • Utilize computer systems, scanners, and internal software to retrieve orders and process production work.
  • Follow established quality control procedures and company standards throughout the production process.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of production objectives.
WHAT MAKES YOU THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ years of experience in a production, manufacturing, quality control, printing, or other detail-oriented environment.
  • Experience performing repetitive tasks while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Experience working in a productivity- or target-driven role with measurable performance expectations.
  • Comfortable using computers, scanners, and software applications to process work orders.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify errors, inconsistencies, and defects.
  • Ability to follow established procedures and maintain quality standards.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Collectibles knowledge, including sports cards, trading card games, or non-sports trading cards, is preferred.
  • Previous experience in label printing, printing operations, quality inspection, or manufacturing environments is preferred.
