Senior Financial Analyst

System One is partnering with a manufacturing client seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support pricing strategy, revenue growth initiatives, forecasting, and margin analysis. This role serves as a key finance business partner to commercial and operational teams, providing actionable insights that drive profitable growth and improve financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with commercial and business unit leaders to support pricing decisions, sales performance, and revenue growth strategies.
  • Analyze bookings, backlog, shipments, pricing trends, and margin performance to identify risks and opportunities.
  • Prepare financial forecasts, budgets, reforecasts, and variance analyses.
  • Develop and maintain reporting, dashboards, and financial models to enhance visibility into key business drivers.
  • Support customer opportunity evaluations, pricing actions, and strategic business initiatives through financial analysis.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to align commercial activities with operational and financial objectives.
  • Drive continuous improvements in reporting processes, data quality, and analytical tools.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in FP&A, commercial finance, financial analysis, or a related finance function.
  • Manufacturing, industrial, or operational industry experience preferred.
  • Experience supporting pricing analysis, forecasting, and sales performance metrics preferred.
  • Advanced analytical, financial modeling, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong Excel and data analysis capabilities with the ability to interpret large datasets and communicate findings effectively.
