Job description

Job Title: Special Projects Crew MemberPosition Summary

Guardian Cleaners is seeking dependable and hardworking Special Projects Crew Members to support our commercial and industrial cleaning operations. This team handles specialty cleaning services and large-scale projects, including high dusting, duct cleaning, floor care, tile and grout detailing, and dryer vent cleaning. Projects may require planned overnight travel to surrounding states.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform high dusting in commercial and industrial facilities

  • Clean and maintain HVAC duct systems

  • Provide floor care services, including carpet cleaning, stripping, waxing, scrubbing, and polishing

  • Perform tile and grout detailing and deep cleaning

  • Perform dryer vent cleaning and other specialty cleaning services

  • Perform window cleaning
  • Operate lifts, ladders, floor machines, and other specialized equipment safely

  • Follow safety protocols and company procedures at all times

  • Work efficiently as part of a team to complete projects on schedule

  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment

  • Communicate professionally with supervisors and clients on-site

Travel Requirements
  • Planned overnight trips required

  • 2nd - 3rd shift
  • Travel locations include:
    Tennessee (TN), Indiana (IN), West Virginia (WV), Oklahoma (OK), Missouri (MO), Georgia (GA), Iowa (IA), and Arkansas (AR)

  • Travel schedule provided in advance when possible

Qualifications
  • Prior commercial or specialty cleaning experience preferred (willing to train the right candidate)

  • Comfortable working at heights and in industrial environments

  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks

  • Valid driver’s license preferred

  • Must be reliable, punctual, and safety-focused

  • Ability to travel overnight

  • Ability to work 2nd-3rd shift
