Warehouse Associate
Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday
Shift: 7:00 AM-3:30 PM or 8:00 AM-4:30 PM
Hours may extend later depending on freight volume and production demands.
Job Description
We are seeking dependable and hardworking Warehouse Associates to join a fast-paced transportation and logistics team. In this role, you'll play an important part in making sure freight is received, processed, loaded, and delivered on time.
You'll work alongside an experienced management team while gaining valuable experience in shipping, receiving, inventory, and warehouse operations.
What You'll Do
  • Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including loading and unloading trucks.
  • Check in incoming merchandise and verify shipments for accuracy.
  • Match purchase orders to sales orders and distribute orders for processing.
  • Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, and requisitions to determine items that need to be moved, gathered, distributed, or shipped.
  • Load and unload trailers safely and efficiently.
  • Use handheld scanners to track and process freight.
  • Monitor daily pickups and deliveries to ensure shipments arrive on time and in good condition.
  • Communicate with drivers and take check calls regarding shipment status.
  • Verify load information before marking shipments as delivered.
  • Assemble products as needed.
  • Participate in inventory counts and other warehouse activities.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, accessible, and safe warehouse environment.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
What You'll Need
  • Basic written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to follow written, verbal, and diagram-based instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous warehouse or dock experience, preferably in the transportation industry.
  • Experience loading and unloading trailers.
  • Experience using handheld scanners.
  • Previous shipping, receiving, or inventory experience.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift, push, and/or pull at least 75 pounds.
  • Ability to repeatedly load and unload trucks and trailers.
  • Ability to remain active throughout the shift and perform physical warehouse duties.

Tuesday-Saturday
Available schedules include:
  • 7:00 AM-3:30 PM
  • 8:00 AM-4:30 PM
Start/end times may vary and shifts may run later based on freight volume and production demands.

Pay Details: $18.00 per hour
