Job description

Overview

Group 1 Hyundai College Park is part of the fast growing Group 1 Automotive, a leader in automotive retail.  We are looking to add a qualified Parts Counter Retail Sales Associate to our team.


Responsibilities

  • Operate the Retail Parts Store and support the Service and Collision Parts Departments as needed.
  • Assist internal and external customers in identifying, locating, and purchasing automotive parts and accessories.
  • Process parts orders, invoices, and customer transactions accurately.
  • Coordinate with Service Advisors and Technicians to locate and distribute parts in a timely manner.
  • Communicate parts updates, availability and order status to customers and internal team members.
  • Receive, stock, and organize daily parts shipments while maintaining accurate inventory and a clean work area

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of automotive parts department experience required
  • Automotive dealership experience preferred. 
  • Must be available to work every Saturday
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Professional appearance and work ethic.
  • Ability to work well in a process driven environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver license in the state that you will work and a good driving record.

The compensation range reasonably expected for this position is $19 - $28 /an hour based on experience.
