Job description

Brown's Collision in Johnstown is looking for a Parts Person. The parts person is responsible for order, checking and billing collision parts in a busy collision center.  In this position, your responsibilities include selling parts and taking inventory of stock in storage and billing invoices, returns etc. 

Parts Counter Person Compensation and Benefits:

Parts Person Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the parts sales process from start to finish

  • Work with parts manager to locate any parts not in stock

  • Complete special order part request for the customer

  • Communicate with customer on parts status

  • Communicate with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner

  • Must follow all company safety policies and procedures

Parts Person Requirements:

  • Previous experience at a collision center is a plus

  • Knowledge of automobiles

  • Ability to learn new technology and collision repair specifications

  • Minimum of 1 year in parts department

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Basic computer skills

  • Positive, friendly attitude 

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Strong organizational and time management skills
