Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Automotive Claims Adjuster to join our team. This role involves evaluating auto insurance claims, negotiating settlements, and ensuring efficient resolution of claims related to vehicle damages. The ideal candidate will possess strong analysis skills, automotive knowledge, and excellent communication abilities to provide exceptional service to clients while maintaining adherence to company policies and industry standards.

Duties

  • Assess and investigate auto insurance claims by reviewing repair estimates, police reports, and other relevant documentation.
  • Negotiate settlements with policyholders, repair shops, and third parties to reach fair and accurate resolutions.
  • Utilize mechanical knowledge and auto estimating skills to evaluate vehicle damage and determine repair costs.
  • Coordinate with auto body repair shops, auto restoration specialists, and service providers to facilitate repairs and restorations.
  • Apply underwriting principles to ensure claims are processed within policy coverage limits.
  • Prepare detailed reports on claim status, damages, and settlement offers for management review.
  • Maintain thorough records of all claim activities in accordance with regulatory standards.
  • Provide guidance on automotive repair processes and service writing when necessary to assist clients through the claims process.
