Collision Center Estimator
Lindquist Ford is looking for an experienced, motivated Collision Center Estimator to join our team.
We are looking for someone who understands that a great estimator does more than write an estimate. This position plays a critical role in the entire repair process - from the initial vehicle inspection and customer communication to insurance coordination, supplements, documentation, and final delivery.
The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, comfortable communicating with customers and insurance companies, and able to keep repairs moving through the collision center.
What You'll Do
  • Inspect damaged vehicles and prepare accurate, thorough collision repair estimates
  • Review repair needs and identify all visible and potential damage
  • Communicate clearly with customers throughout the repair process
  • Work directly with insurance companies and adjusters
  • Prepare, document, and follow up on supplements
  • Review insurance estimates and identify missed labor, operations, materials, and procedures
  • Research OEM repair procedures and ensure proper documentation is included in the repair plan
  • Work closely with technicians, parts personnel, and collision center management
  • Monitor repair progress and help eliminate delays
  • Maintain accurate repair order documentation, photos, notes, and customer communication
  • Assist with final repair order review to ensure all completed work and billable operations are properly documented
  • Help provide a smooth, professional customer experience from vehicle drop-off through delivery
What We're Looking For
  • Collision estimating or automotive repair experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of collision repair processes and terminology
  • Experience working with insurance companies and adjusters
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation
  • Ability to stay organized and manage multiple repairs at one time
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Team-oriented attitude with the ability to work closely with technicians and management
  • Estimating software experience is preferred
  • I-CAR training or certifications are a plus
Why Join Lindquist Ford?
At Lindquist Ford, we believe in giving our employees the tools, support, and opportunity to be successful. Our Collision Center is focused on improving processes, growing our operation, and providing a high-quality repair experience for our customers.
We are looking for someone who wants to be part of that growth - someone who takes pride in writing a complete repair plan, communicating with customers, and helping the entire shop operate more efficiently.
  • What We Offer
    • Competitive pay with performance-based incentives
    • Health, dental, and vision insurance
    • Paid time off and holidays
    • 401(k) with company match
    • Ongoing training and certification opportunities
    • A supportive, team-oriented shop environment
    • Opportunities for career growth
