Paradise is Calling. We are seeking a highly motivated Right of Way Coordinator to join our team in Naples, Florida. We focus on Transportation and Stormwater-related acquisitions for Collier County, located on the southwest coast of Florida.

What We're looking For: Extensive experience in the acquisition of right of way and real property.

Highly skilled in preparation of all documents related to right of way and real property acquisition. A strong negotiator with excellent communication skills and attention to detail A collaborator and problem-solver who works well across teams Essential Functions Supervises, directs and evaluates Property Acquisition Specialists. Oversees day-to-day work, advises and trains team; assists with complex negotiations.

Prepares complex legal documents; drafts special provisions in documents. Performs complex research and examination of title to real property. Reviews construction plans, right of way maps, and legal descriptions; identifies property interests needed; analyzes information and identifies impacts on real estate and businesses; recommends changes which might minimize damages and expenses.

Prepares Offer Resolutions and Condemnation Resolutions and exhibits supporting agenda items; presents or assists in the presentation of agenda items to the Board of County Commissioners. Identifies and processes all project-wide utility subordinations; coordinates condemnation suit file preparation; negotiates more complex acquisitions. Administers title work contracts; orders and reviews all title work; assists Property Acquisition Specialists with determining title and clearance requirements; reviews and approves title work invoices.

Develops, establishes, and maintains databases, hard copy files, and records; provides information systems assistance and troubleshooting to co-workers as appropriate. Assists Right of Way Acquisition Manager with operations, project management, special projects, and development of policies and procedures; assists with staffing interviews and makes hiring recommendations to Right of Way Acquisition Manager. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree required.

Four (4) years of related experience. Candidates without a degree should have four (4) additional years of related experience. Fingerprinting Required.

LICENSES/CERTIFICATES Must possess and maintain a valid Florida Driver's License with any applicable endorsement(s) to drive a County vehicle as provided in CMA 5805. Supplemental information Salary offers above the minimum pay grade may be considered based on qualifications. Essential Employees may be required to work during an undeclared or declared emergency.
