Osage View Restaurant
$7.50/hour + tips
The Osage View Restaurant has an opening for a Summer Server position. This individual will be servicing the main restaurant, the back patio and the pool area. We are looking for candidates available to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings and weekends. Servers are responsible for greeting our guest, taking orders and serving food in a fun and recreational atmosphere. Dependability, a positive attitude and attention to detail is required for success in this position.
ESSENTIALS FUNCTIONS:
  • Greet guest in a friendly and welcoming manner
  • Present menus and answer questions regarding food and beverage options
  • Take orders on an electronic devise
  • Deliver food and drinks promptly, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Anticipate and attend to customer needs throughout their dining experience
  • Clean and prep tables with special attention to sanitation and presentation
  • Clean restaurant and other dining spaces upon guests leaving
  • Help clean, organize and restock restaurant at the close of shift
  • Process payments and maintain accurate cash/credit handling
  • Other duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)
This position requires a high school diploma. This position requires work experience and abilities in the following areas:
  • Must be 18 years of age
  • Must posses excellent customer service skills are a must.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
  • The ability to move with a sense of urgency amp; efficiency.
  • Ability to remain calm, and maintain a positive demeaner even during high-stress situations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic understanding of food handling techniques, preparation, and cooking procedures.
  • Must be able to work quickly and efficiently.
  • Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Must be able to work well under pressure.
  • Ability to maintain personal cleanliness.
  • Prior experience as a server is preferred, but not required.
