Occasional Worker - Athletic Ticket Office-Box Office Assistant
Job no: 493590
Work type: Service/Maintenance

Pay Range: Targeted salary $10.00 per hour, based on experience
Benefits Eligible: No
Work Schedule: Rotating Shift Schedule; Olympic sport home competition as assigned
Travel: Not required
Position Introduction:
As an employee of the OU Athletic Ticket Office, you will be the front line of the athletic department on event days. You will work with other student workers and operations staff to assist in the operations of the OU Athletic Box Office(s) for various Olympic sports throughout the academic year.
You will be assisting customers in purchasing, ticket resolution and/or distributing tickets in person on event days. Candidates should be able to communicate effectively with the public and co-workers. Students must be willing to work select home sporting events throughout the Fall and Spring semesters.
Essential Functions:
  • Provide customer service in person
  • Ticket sales and order management
  • Database management
  • Game day event preparation and management
  • Complementary ticket management and fulfillment
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills:
  • Effective communication skills
  • Basic clerical skills
  • Be able to work nights and weekends
  • Basic computer skills

Required Education and Experience:
  • None

Department Preferences:
  • Previous customer service experience preferred
  • Previous sales experience preferred
  • Game Day Availability
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Technologically proficient, able to pick up ticketing software quickly
