We're looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Billing & Collections Specialist to join our Finance team in Teaneck, NJ.
In this role, you'll play a key part in managing the end-to-end billing and collections process across the US and Canada. You'll ensure accurate invoicing, maintain healthy accounts receivable, and provide a seamless customer experience by partnering closely with Finance, Sales Operations, and Customer Success. This is a hands-on role that combines analytical precision with strong communication and organizational skills.
A day in the life and how you'll make an impact:
  • Generate, review, and send customer invoices in a timely and accurate manner
  • Reconcile billing data across finance systems to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Review and process monthly revenue recognition journals in accordance with ASC 606.
  • Manage customer accounts, monitor AR aging, and proactively follow up on overdue balances
  • Partner with Sales Operations and Customer Success teams to resolve billing discrepancies and customer disputes
  • Maintain and report on AR aging, cash collections, and DSO metrics across all entities.
  • Assist with monthly close activities related to billing, collections, and revenue recognition support
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline billing workflows and improve system efficiency
  • Provide exceptional customer service in all billing communications and collection efforts
  • Support process documentation and continuous improvement initiatives within the Order to Cash function
  • Process customer payments, Post daily cash receipts
  • Verify contracts, change orders, and supporting documentation before invoicing

Requirements
  • Associates' or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years of experience in ASC 606 revenue recognition, billing, accounts receivable, or collections; international experience a plus
  • Experience in a recurring revenue or subscription-based environment - Must
  • Strong understanding of invoicing, AR reconciliations, and collections best practices
  • Hands-on experience with ERP or finance systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks, or similar)
  • Excellent communication and customer relationship management skills
  • High attention to detail, organization, and accuracy under tight deadlines
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with Sales and Customer Success teams
  • Proactive, process-driven mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Experience supporting both US and Canadian customers preferred
  • Extensive knowledge of Excel, and Google Sheets is a must. Experience with Salesforce is a plus
  • Experience working with payment portals such as COUPA, Amazon Payee Central, etc.

Compensation:
UVeye provides salary ranges that comply with the New Jersey State Law on salary transparency in job advertisements. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, qualifications, skills, location, education, and operational needs. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentives or other forms of compensation or benefits. The hourly rate for this position is $27 - $36.
