Position Overview
The Dental Billing & Collections Coordinator plays a key role in patient communication, financial management, and administrative flow. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys interacting with patients while ensuring accurate billing and efficient office systems.
Responsibilities:
Billing & Collections
Manage claims creation, submission, and follow-ups
Handle patient billing, account audits, and payment collection
Monitor aging reports and follow up on outstanding balances
Communicate with insurance companies to resolve claim issues
Maintain compliance with dental coding and billing standards
Front Desk / Administrative
Greet and check in/out patients with professionalism and warmth
Answer phones and assist patients with questions about treatment and insurance
Maintain organized records and ensure HIPAA compliance
Support daily administrative tasks as needed
