Job Description Job Description Credit and Collections Specialist LHH Recruitment Solutions is looking for an experienced Credit and Collections professional for a growing client just south of Dayton Ohio. This position will be responsible for assessing the credit worthiness of new and existing customers while also maintaining collections on delinquent accounts in your portfolio. This position is Temp to Hire and will pay between $19 and $23/hr. Responsibilities Assess the creditworthiness of potential commercial clients. Conduct risk assessments and prepare detailed credit reports. Monitor existing clients' financial conditions and payment patterns. Monitoring accounts receivable to identify overdue accounts. Contacting customers with overdue accounts to negotiate payment plans or collect overdue amounts. Utilizing various tools to locate customers who have moved or changed contact information. Maintaining accurate records of contacts, attempted contacts, and payments collected. Resolving customer issues and complaints related to billing. Submitting regular reports on the status of unpaid accounts and repayment progress. Requirements: At least 2-3 years of credit and collections experience. Associate degree or higher in business is preferred but nor required. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills Experience with an ERP accounting system.
