We are seeking a dynamic and competent Associate Attorney to join our legal team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of legal issues, primarily dealing with creditors, financial institutions, insurance, disputes, and appellate court matters. This role requires a strong background in legal writing, as well as a deep understanding of the financial industry. The Associate Attorney will work closely with our team of seasoned lawyers and will play a crucial role in managing client relationships, conducting legal research, and representing our clients in court. Responsibilities:
1. Provide expert legal support and advice to clients, primarily in the areas of creditors, financial institutions, insurance, and disputes.
2. Represent our clients in court, particularly in appellate court matters.
3. Conduct thorough legal research to support case preparation and strategy development.
4. Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, contracts, and agreements.
5. Collaborate with our team of attorneys to develop legal strategies and solutions.
6. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current laws and regulations related to our practice areas.
7. Manage client relationships, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
Qualifications:
1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admitted to practice law in the state and in good standing with the state Bar.
3. A minimum of 2 years of experience as an attorney, preferably in the areas of creditors, financial institutions, insurance, disputes, and appellate court matters.
4. Exceptional legal writing skills.
5. Proven experience representing clients in court, particularly in appellate court.
6. Strong understanding of the financial industry and related legal issues.
7. Excellent research, negotiation, and communication skills.
8. Ability to manage multiple clients and cases simultaneously.
