The Role:
The team at Sunbit is looking for a self-motivated and ambitious Collections Associate for our Las Vegas, Nevada office. Your primary responsibility will be to contact our valued customers with overdue accounts and work together to find a resolution. Additional key duties include monitoring accounts to identify outstanding debts and collecting the overdue amount or negotiating a payment plan to collect payments in installments. This will be an hourly position that requires schedule flexibility with possible nights and/or weekends.
Please Note: This position is in a Call Center, in office (non-remote) environment
What You'll own:
  • Contact customers with overdue accounts and attempt to either collect the overdue amount or negotiate a payment plan to collect the payment in installments
  • Maintain records of contacts and attempted contacts with delinquent account customers as well as records of any payments collected from the customer
  • Submit regular reports on the status of unpaid accounts and any repayment progress
  • Comply with all federal and state rules and regulations governing collections
