JOB TITLE: Billing and Collections Assistant

OVERVIEW: Evolution Restoration & Renovation is a Phoenix-based restoration and reconstruction company. We are looking for a detail-oriented Billing and Collections Specialist to join our team part-time, with the potential to grow into a full-time role as our volume increases.

In this role, you will manage the company's invoicing processes, track client accounts, issue accurate statements, and process payments. You will ensure financial records are precise, resolve billing discrepancies, and handle customer inquiries — all while maintaining steady cash flow and upholding client confidentiality.

You will work directly in Zoho CRM and QuickBooks to manage invoicing, track open balances, and follow up with customers and adjusters on outstanding accounts. If you are organized, great on the phone, and comfortable working with numbers — we want to hear from you.

LOCATION: In-Person / Phoenix, AZ

SCHEDULE: Part-Time: Monday through Friday, 4 hours per day (7 AM–11 AM, 8 AM–Noon, or  12PM-4PM)

TYPE: Part-Time with potential to grow into Full-Time as volume increases

PAY: Hourly — TBD based on experience (starting at $20/hour minimum)

PROBATIONARY PERIOD: 90 days



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Review all active jobs in Zoho CRM daily and identify what needs to be invoiced and what needs follow-up
  • Create and send invoices to customers in QuickBooks
  • Track client accounts and issue accurate billing statements
  • Process payments and maintain precise financial records
  • Resolve billing discrepancies quickly and professionally
  • Follow up with customers and insurance adjusters on outstanding balances
  • Handle customer billing inquiries while maintaining confidentiality
  • Log notes after every call or follow-up action
  • Work closely with the team to keep billing and collections current



WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • QuickBooks experience — required
  • Background in construction or restoration billing — preferred but not required, we will train the right person
  • Great on the phone — polite, professional, and persistent
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) — preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and good with numbers
  • No degree required
  • Self-starter who can work independently and stay organized
  • Looking for a long-term opportunity



COMPENSATION AND SCHEDULE DETAILS

  • Hourly pay starting at $20/hour
  • 90-day probationary period
  • Part-time to start — 4 hours per day, Monday through Friday
  • This is an hourly position: weekends and holidays are not paid if not worked
