The Senior Finance Manager will be responsible for agreed upon business segments of the PKI-IoT business unit.ย  The Senior Finance Manager is responsible for deliverables critical to General Ledger accuracy, integrity, and financial close through applying accounting principles. Areas of monthly accounting responsibility will include AP, AR, collections, intercompany, accruals, prepaid expenses, compensation, and benefits. This role will consolidate four current operating entities, generate financial statements and prepare inputs for the management reporting system.ย 

The Senior Finance Manager position will also include financial planning and analysis, establishing an annual budget, reforecasting and analysis of variances to support leadership team in controlling costs and executing business strategy.

As ourย Senior Finance Manager, you'll support HID's successย by:ย 

  • Managing and executing the month-end close process including booking journal entries, approving journal entries, preparing reconciliations and approving reconciliations
  • Maintaining the general ledger on Epicor including all sub-ledgers as well as system reports and account mappings
  • Serving as Epicor accounting system and ARM PO system SME, managing system upgrades and troubleshooting system issues
  • Serving as Project Manager on future business migrations, including Chart of Accounts mapping, new bank account set up, Supplier and Customer onboarding, etc.
  • Accounting for compensation and benefits expense; including recording and validating the accuracy of payroll, benefits, commissions, recruiting and contract labor related costs
  • Managing Sr. Accountant and overseeing customer billings, accounts receivable, collections, deferred revenue accounting, intergroup and intercompany accounting, cash accounting and bank account reconciliations
  • Managing Sr. Financial Analyst and overseeing prepaids, lease accounting, fixed assets, accounts payable, AP accruals and budgeting & forecasting
  • Entering reporting data into HID management reporting system (Oracle & OneStream)
  • Managing sales and use taxes and administering sales tax system (Avalara AvaTax)
  • Reporting income tax, property tax, sales tax and 1099
  • Maintaining required business licenses
  • Managing Supplier and Customer Master records
  • Providing Finance review of all Purchase Orders
  • Handling Treasury tasks including approving pay runs, ACH batches and wires, maintaining bank relationships, updating signatories and opening/closing accounts, as needed
  • Managing corporate cards and Travel & Expense (T&E) reporting system
  • Managing payroll and payroll tax reporting
  • Preparing fluctuation analyses
  • Implementing and documenting internal controls and procedures
  • Managing annual internal controls assessment and providing support to auditors as needed
  • Providing input on enhancements or changes to the current accounting function and systems as business needs evolve
  • Providing ad-hoc reporting

Yourย Experienceย and Background include:ย ย 

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field. Candidates with equivalent education, plus relevant work experience may also be considered.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience working in a professional business environment in an accounting or finance related role.
  • Ability to perform several tasks concurrently with ease and professionalism
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.ย 
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with tight month-end close deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to establish priorities and meet deadlines
  • Excellent follow-up and tracking skills
  • Meticulous and detail oriented
  • Good communicator and able to interact well with colleagues and personnel from other departments
  • Decisive project management skills with the ability to plan and execute accordingly
  • Experience in database management or producing reports, or in the use of automated systems
  • Experience working with basic principles in accounting or in analyzing financial figures
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Experience with accounting systems specifically knowledge of Epicor Kinetic Accounting System
  • Proficient in Adobe PDF applications
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Experience with web applications on IE, Chrome, and Firefox browsers
  • Must be able to pass extensive background checks and drug screeningย
