THE OPPORTUNITY

IF YOU'RE PURSUING A PARALEGAL CAREER, LOOKING TO GROW IN THE LEGAL FIELD, OR PLANNING TO GO TO LAW SCHOOL AND WANT A STRONG LETTER OF RECOMMENDATION, this is an outstanding opportunity to gain hands-on experience, build professional credibility, and work closely with attorneys who mentor and support your development. This role suits someone organized, confident, and excellent with people. A Paralegal may have completed at least two years of legal studies or paraprofessional coursework or possess equivalent practical legal experience demonstrating familiarity with legal terminology, filing procedures, and case documentation. While prior paralegal experience is not required, the role is intended for individuals who have worked in a legal or professional environment and can competently prepare, review, and manage legal documents under attorney supervision. Professionalism, strong communication, and a willingness to learn quickly are essential.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Draft and file collection complaints, summonses, and affidavits
  • Review account histories and validate debt documentation
  • Track service of process, court dates, and filing deadlines
  • File documents with courts and administrative agencies
  • Coordinate with process servers and court clerks
  • Prepare garnishment orders, liens, and post-judgment motions
