Job description

Job Overview:

The Accounts Receivable department oversees the timely collection of payments owed from various customer purchases or other sources by which the company is due payment.

Under direct supervision, the Collection Representative will be responsible for many aspects of the collection process, such as collecting on outstanding invoices, resolving customer billing issues, responding to customer inquiries/concerns, and more. 

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing customer’s account to correct inaccurate information and identifying any outstanding payments
  • Interacting directly with customer to resolve credit and collection issues
  • Employing collection strategies for outstanding invoices on customer’s account
  • Partnering with account managers to resolve any issues in a timely manner
  • Taking necessary actions to encourage timely payments
  • Issuing refunds and applying credits
  • Reviewing and releasing pending orders
