Verification Specialist - Cards (w/m/d)
Munich, Germany, On-site, Full-Time, Monday-Friday
We're looking for a Verification Specialist to join our CGC CARDS division in our Munich, Germany Office to provide exceptional review, verification and database maintenance of customer submissions utilizing their knowledge of sports, trading, and/or non-trading cards.

WHAT YOU WILL DO AS A VERIFICATION SPECIALIST:
  • Verify & Validate collectible submissions, ensuring all details-such as characters, edition, language, and other key identifiers-are accurately recorded
  • Enter & Maintain Data by inputting item-specific details into proprietary systems with precision
  • Research & Identify collectibles using internal databases to confirm authenticity and origin, escalating complex cases as needed
  • Resolve Discrepancies by collaborating with the Client Services team to address inconsistencies between customer submissions and received items
  • Ensure Quality & Accuracy in data entry while maintaining consistency across multiple platforms
  • Manage Time Effectively to meet production timelines while balancing speed and accuracy
  • Collaborate Across Departments to ensure a seamless verification process

WHAT MAKES YOU THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
  • In-depth knowledge of trading cards, sports cards, or non-trading cards
  • Experience with data entry and/or receiving (preferred but not required)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a strong eye for accuracy in reviewing and verifying items
  • Proficiency in research to verify and confirm card details
  • Strong organizational & time management skills to efficiently process high-volume submissions
  • Effective communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
