Job description

The Software Solutions Integrator plays a critical role in defining software solutions for KPI's OPTO clients. This position works closely with clients, internal development teams, and third-party vendors to translate business needs into scalable system solutions across KPI's OPTO product portfolio.
The ideal candidate combines strong technical knowledge with excellent communication skills, enabling them to bridge the gap between operational business needs and technical integration solutioning. This role is highly collaborative and client-facing, requiring the ability to clearly define scope, guide integration decisions, and ensure solutions align with company standards and client expectations. Providing consultative advice regarding industry best practices and process methodologies as well as creating solutions that best meet KPI and customer needs.
  • Gather and analyze client business needs and operational workflows.
  • Translate client business needs into clear technical specifications, system use cases, and solution designs utilizing existing company software product features, and flagging gaps
  • Identify system capabilities, constraints, and risks early in the design process.
  • Serve as a primary technical contact for clients during the solution design phase.
  • Facilitate workshops and technical discussions with clients, internal teams, and vendors.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts in clear, practical language to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Develop process workflows and system interactions using modeling techniques such as BPMN.
  • Create and maintain high-quality technical documentation including architecture diagrams, integration specifications, etc
  • Design and document integration between client's host system (ERP/WMS) and company software product platform using technologies such as REST APIs, Kafka, FTP/SFTP and other integration frameworks.
  • Maintain expert level knowledge of company software products
  • Contribute to the standardization of company software product documentation
  • Performs other duties as required.

Requirements
Required
  • Experience working with WMS, WES, or WCS systems in distribution centers
  • Background in software development, system engineering, or solution architecture.
  • Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into technical system designs.
  • Knowledge of integration technologies and protocols such as REST APIs, Kafka, FTP/SFTP, or similar.
  • Experience creating technical documentation and solution design artifacts.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including client-facing experience.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking
  • Attention to detail when defining and clearly documenting scope and requirements
  • Collaborative approach to working across engineering, product, and client teams
  • Strong sense of ownership, focus on quality, responsiveness, efficiency, and innovation.
  • Bachelor's Degree

Preferred
  • Experience integrating with material handling equipment, robotics, or automation platforms.
  • Familiarity with process modeling frameworks such as BPMN.
