· Location: Medina, OH
Job Description
The Cold Forming Operator will join a growing team manufacturing safety components for the U.S. automotive industry. This hands-on role is ideal for mechanically inclined individuals with machine operation experience. The position involves operating multi-station heading machines, performing set-ups and adjustments, conducting inspections, and ensuring quality production standards are met. Comprehensive on-the-job training and ongoing development opportunities are provided.
Responsibilities:
· Receive training from lead personnel and engineering to interpret machine prints and product dimension specifications
· Operate 2- to 6-station cold heading machines
· Perform machine set-ups and diameter changes
· Enter data into the production system for quality tracking
· Perform machine adjustments and routine maintenance as needed
· Conduct first-piece and last-piece inspections
· Lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
· Follow all safety procedures and report safety concerns
· Maintain cleanliness, preventive maintenance, and proper use of assigned equipment
· Attend required training classes for cold forming technology, quality, safety, and related topics
Qualifications and Requirements:
· High School Diploma or GED
· Mechanical aptitude and hands-on mindset
· Minimum of 3 years of machine operation experience (cold forming machinery experience highly preferred)
· Willingness to learn and grow within the organization
· Ability to meet post-offer testing requirements, including background check and drug screen
