Product Application Specialist

In order to reinforce our growth plans in North America, Marposs Corporation has an opening for a Product Application Specialist.

Reporting to the Brankamp Product Manager, this individual will Provide support for direct sales, distributors, OEMโ€™s and end users in the quotation, application design, installation, launch of monitoring solutions.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support to customers, sales personnel, distributors, and service partners for Brankamp monitoring solutions within the cold forming and stamping industries.
  • Respond to customer inquiries by phone, email, and other communication channels, troubleshooting technical issues and providing timely resolutions.
  • Support the application, installation, startup, and evaluation of Brankamp products, including system configuration and upgrade recommendations.
  • Work closely with Sales Engineers to develop application solutions, prepare quotations, and support customer demonstrations and presentations.
  • Assist in identifying customer requirements and recommend appropriate products and monitoring solutions based on production needs.
  • Coordinate with Sales, Service, and Engineering teams to ensure successful implementation and resolution of customer issues.
  • Prepare technical proposals, product documentation, and customer communications in support of the sales process.
  • Maintain accurate customer records, service activities, and opportunity tracking within the CRM system.
  • Conduct customer site visits to support product evaluations, installations, training, and application development as required.
  • Provide customer training on product functionality, software operation, and best practices to maximize system performance.
  • Document customer feedback, application results, and field observations to support continuous product improvement.
  • Stay current on Brankamp products, industry trends, and manufacturing processes within the cold forming and stamping markets.
What we are looking for:
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, Mechatronics, or a related technical field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 2-5 years of experience in manufacturing, industrial automation, machine tools, cold forming, stamping, or a related industry preferred.
  • Knowledge of cold forming, stamping, metal forming, or manufacturing processes is preferred.
  • Experience with industrial sensors, monitoring systems, PLCs, CNC controls, or automation equipment is a plus.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical documentation.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers and internal teams.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and customer requests.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Willingness to travel throughout North America as needed to support customers and Sales Engineers (approximately 20-30% travel).
  • Valid driver's license and ability to obtain a passport for international travel, if required.
