Position Description
Title: Logistics Manager
Department: Supply Chain
Reports to: Sr. Corporate Supply Chain Manager
Status: Salaried Exempt
Position Purpose: The Logistics Manager will serve as the liaison to customer teams to develop systems solutions to support logistics programs
Principle Accountabilities
  • Partner with key cross-functional teams to solicit customer and associate feedback to identify program improvement opportunities for implementation.
  • Implement strategy for best practices to identify new and/or unique programs to differentiate Customer from the marketplace and drive customer satisfaction. Create timelines for implementation.
  • Investigate and analyze potential risk and other matters of significance, and provide implementation solutions for support consideration.
  • Responsible for internal communications and presentations related to key performance metrics, program updates and on-going program information.
  • Manage the supply of logistics-related data to support customers in the day-to-day general areas of engineering, supply, configuration management, technical requirements identification, installation and maintenance of equipment, safety and documentation development and maintenance.
  • Investigate and analyze potential risk and other matters of significance, and provides and implementation solutions.
  • Consult with assigned clients to understand their distribution networks and determines the logistics resources required to support equipment, safety, personnel and maintenance.
  • Negotiates with supply sources to meet technical requirements
  • Work in conjunction with various parties such as business development, field support and customer service to handle complaints and ensure support plans are in place to maintain long-term customer relationships.
  • Manage other Supply Chain related projects as required.

Essential Skills and Experience
  • Bachelor degree in Business or Supply Chain related majors.
  • Five to seven years of experience in planning, purchasing, logistics or manufacturing of high volume consumer products
  • Experience supporting multiple business units and cross-functional teams rather than a single functional area.
  • Advanced skills using Microsoft Office: Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Project, and Word.
  • Broad working experience in supply chain functions of planning, purchasing, inventory management and logistics.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills & managerial experience.
  • Demonstrated analytical ability, required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting set deadlines.
