Job Description
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
  • Responsible for interviewing, training, and selecting employees for the department.
  • Respond to and handle employee concerns in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Recommend or take appropriate action when administering disciplinary processes in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for planning, supervising, and monitoring the work of the team members in assigned area(s).
  • Responsible for monitoring legal compliance with federal, state and gaming laws.
  • Weighs, counts, wraps and records slot drop according to procedure.
  • Sorts, counts and records contents of table game drop boxes according to procedure.
  • Verifies quantity against records.
  • Transfers coin from hard count room to coin storage room.
  • Prepares bank deposits of coin. Wraps bank purchases of coin.
  • Responsible for general upkeep of hard and soft count room.
  • Repairs and maintains count room equipment.
  • Always presents oneself as a credit to the company and encourages others to do the same.
  • Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience is required.

OTHER MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Adding machine, computer terminal operation and currency counting machine skills required.
  • Prior supervisory experience preferred.
  • Prior money handling and coin room experience preferred (bank, casino, sales, etc.).
  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.

PHYSICAL, MENTAL, AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:
  • Must be able to work flexible hours including early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Ability to maintain regular, predictable attendance according to schedule.
  • Able to push, pull, carry, or lift up to 50lbs repetitively throughout the work day.
  • The physical ability to stand and/or walk continuously for duration of shift.
  • The physical ability to climb stairs, balance, bend/stoop, and kneel continuously.
  • The physical ability to frequently crouch, push/pull, squat, and work above the shoulders with both arms.
  • The physical ability to use both hands for continuous grasping.
  • Must be able to tolerate areas containing dust, loud noises, second hand smoke, and bright lights.
  • Ability to safely operate motorized equipment.
