Machine Operator
Location: Natomas, CA
Schedule: Monday - Friday | 6:30 AM - 3:15 PM
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour (DOE)
Position Type: Full-Time | Long-Term
Express Employment Professionals is seeking a dependable Machine Operator for a precision sheet metal fabrication company in Natomas. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong mechanical aptitude who enjoys working with machinery in a manufacturing environment.
The ideal candidate will have experience operating and maintaining production equipment, be comfortable performing machine setups and adjustments, and have a keen eye for detail. This company manufactures precision sheet metal products where accuracy and quality are critical.
Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and monitor precision manufacturing equipment used in sheet metal fabrication
  • Perform machine setup, adjustments, and basic troubleshooting to maintain production efficiency
  • Conduct routine machine maintenance and ensure equipment is operating properly
  • Read work orders and verify measurements to produce parts within tight tolerances
  • Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards and specifications are met
  • Safely operate forklifts to move raw materials and finished products throughout the facility
  • Load and unload materials while maintaining an organized production area
  • Assist with material handling and inventory movement as needed
  • Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment
  • Work closely with the production team to meet daily production goals

Qualifications
  • Previous machine operator experience in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with a basic understanding of gears, moving parts, and machine functions
  • Experience being responsible for operating and maintaining production machinery
  • Forklift experience required
  • Ability to safely move large materials with a forklift; experience handling 2,000-5,000 lb. loads is highly preferred
