Prime Coater Operator (Machine Operator I) is responsible for operating the Prime Coater machine. Duties include but are not limited to: setting up the Coater, measuring painting parameters (wet film thickness, viscosity, temperature, roll speeds), adjusting the Coater following direction from QC Lab Tech, performing roll changes, cleaning painting equipment, moving paint drums in and out of the coater room, measuring and documenting paint usage information, entering data into Oracle.
Qualifications:
Minimum:
  • High School diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • One year of Manufacturing Experience
  • Knowledge of basic hand and power tools

Preferred:
  • 6+ months of experience operating mobile equipment in a manufacturing environment

Skills & Competencies:
  • Basic computer skills
  • Time Management - prioritizing work to meet internal and/or external customer demands
  • Detail Oriented - ensures accuracy of product and documentation to meet internal and/or external customer demands
  • Good communication skills
  • Mobile equipment operations skills

Night Shift 5:45pm to 6am
